Eliana Combes Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine

My passion is providing patient-focused, results-oriented, gentle and compassionate care for each person who comes to see me. Whether you are looking to maintain your healthy lifestyle, or seeking to regain your health due to an illness or injury, I’ll ensure you receive the time, attention and treatment that will help support your wellness goals.

Many believe acupuncture and Oriental Medicine is used only for treating pain. In fact, Oriental Medicine is an entire system of medicine that is able to treat the whole body. Effective for a wide range of concerns from back pain to asthma, Oriental Medicine is also extremely helpful as a supportive therapy if and when allopathic, Western interventions are required (medications, surgery, etc.). I specialize in treating health issues that are associated with the impact that physical and emotional stress has on our bodies. This includes, but isn’t limited to: headaches/migraines, sleep disturbances, digestive issues, chronic skin disorders, infertility, addictions, weight management, autoimmune disorders, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, trauma responses, respiratory and immune dysfunction, anxiety, depression, and more.

This form of holistic, integrative medicine allows me to offer patients a wide array of “tools in the toolbox.” I’m licensed and trained to provide the entire range of Oriental Medicine modalities, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, moxibustion, Tui Na (Chinese medical massage), acupressure, cupping, auriculotherapy (ear acupuncture), dietary/nutritional and lifestyle consultations and recommendations, and other modalities as well.

As for what to expect regarding my acupuncture needling technique, I like to share with people that I am personally what is called “needle-sensitive.” My technique follows the Golden Rule: I treat you as I would want to be treated. This means that I have a gentle, light touch that puts a high priority on ensuring your experience is comfortable and relaxing, without sacrificing therapeutic results. If you are interested in receiving acupuncture and Oriental Medicine healthcare, I invite you to make an appointment for an evaluation and treatment. If you would like more information to explore the possibility, I offer a no-charge initial consultation to discuss your health concerns, wellness goals and to determine if it’s the right option for you. Be well!
