Dr. Alana Fryer is a licensed clinical psychologist. She specializes in psychological assessment and
psychotherapy with children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Fryer’s assessment specialties include Autism
Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disorders, mood and
anxiety disorders and other complex psychological issues. Dr. Fryer also has experience in parenting,
specifically with managing difficult behaviors and improving the parent-child relationship. Dr. Fryer uses
an integrative approach to psychotherapy, which includes utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT),
psychodynamic therapy, family systems’ approach, and Acceptance-Commitment Therapy (ACT). Dr.
Fryer also has experience and interest in integrative healthcare. She provides pain management
strategies for those experiencing chronic pain associated with discrete pain disorders and other complex
medical conditions.
